Lance, Gunlance, bow, LS I have the easiest time with
if its Deep vero or Styx Ruin maybe its is since those hits like a truck.
Extremoth on the other hand is the one that requires a large amount of effort and focus to crunch as much damage as possible in a pretty tight window. Bow and LS being the one that'll give you the easier time against him. Other weapons will require even more efforts than these two (wich already require a pretty good gameplay)
LS or CB
Longsword will offer a LOT of options to counter *any* amount of damage (minus the Ecliptic), but requires rather extreme knowledge of timing to a rather high extent of preparing (not being stuck in certain animations, while also having just used certain animations within a short enough time to properly utilize the foresight dodge
Chargeblade is a little bit more forgivable in terms of mechanics, but is very, very, very reliant on Gems to meet par to take on Extremoth solo. The skill necessary is lowered, but not by a large margin, and with more risk. The animations of the CB are longer, and quite a few lock out the ability to block for awhile. Failing a Perfect Block will be extremely punishing, but using a Regular Block will result in ridiculous Knockback and high chip, it could even lead to death if you get hit by certain attacks (comparable to being pushed back by AT Xeno into more attacks)
Both would require you to know exactly what you're doing, and have a masterful understanding of both the attack patterns of Extremoth, the attack pattern he has chosen, the specific timing of each animation both for your and the monster, as well as the gaps available for you to act within them.
its not about the damage.
Its the move set
huh wierd since HH doesnt have really a moveset, you could just spam one move and dodge having a steady dps also Horn maestro perk its 60s extra of buff to no waste time dooting XL damage everytime.
How can you have opening to doot ?

It's impossible with TA rules, but using all tools available is barely able to solo him.
