Gajalaka linguistics bug?

soo i want to befriend the gajalakas,and after i talked with the Lynian Researchers he give me a critical bounty which is the "Gajalaka linguistics",but its automaticly complete (probably i randomly pick the doodles before idk),but then he wont give me the "gajalaka linguistics II",help?...

Have you scouted around to find the Lynian Researcher out on the expeditions and gathered tracks from the other tribes?

Ive gathered tracks from the other tribes,acquired their weapons,and talk to the lynian reseacher on every region,but he still gave me that "the doodles are located on every region blablabla" bs,and wont give me the Gajalaka linguistics II

I'm having this bug too, done all lynian quests full research blahblah but still getting the side quest failed stuff.

I havent even done the gajalaka's bounty,got stuck

I remember you have to infiltrate the gajalaka hideout in elder recess. And the infiltration time is at nightfall if I recall. If this is what you indeed have not done yet, you can search in youtube for more information. If you already done the infiltration part, then I don't know what other thing you missed.
Edit : Doing this will unlock gajalaka pathway to be use in elder recess, they are usually some small holes on wall.

Oh?i thought you had to do it after the gajalaka linguistics II,Or i made a mistake

Can you use the gajalaka pathway right now in elder recess? (expedition or any quest in elder recess)
Edit : I go searched the video and recap the gajalaka befriend quest. Indeed after collect ten gajalaka doodles, you need to go to expedition, elder recess and find the lynian researcher at NIGHT.

Hmm that's weird... in some old post, they state that the quest progress normally, and not stuck. If you go into expedition and collect gajalaka doodles, will the quest doodles counter appear?
