I need a good armor set and weapon against AT kirin, im ready to learn any new weapon just so i could beat him and get the layered blossom set, also im playing solo.

It's 12.43am in Singapore now so while I should login and take a screenshot of the decorations used, I am just taking the screenshot and video I posted in my profile a while back.

You should be able to figure out the decorations needed to make the build if this style of play against AT Kirin feels good with you.

I am also a solo player so my builds should fit your needs somewhat. I have soloed everything with exception of regular & Extreme Behemoths, AT Kulve Taroth and AT Xeno'Jiiva with the longsword (except tempered Deviljho which I used a lance). So, longsword should be a pretty good solo weapon.

fire bow. makes at kirin a cake walk. bring thunderproof mantle, evasion mantle or temporal as insurance if you want. bow buildsa re here. check them out.

It'll delete Kirin with minimal effort. Fish / Veggie meal, Thunderproof and Temporal Mantle optional, etc. Force any randoms to use buffs (mega demondrugs, might seeds, etc) while also keeping them alive whenever you need to heal too.

If you lack those pieces, you can use an old and dated set I used back on release to take out Tempered Kirin, the fundamentals are exactly the same though - Health Boost 3, Stun Resistance 3, Paralysis Resistance 3, and as much Thunder elemental resistance as you can fit:

It works for me anyway. Critical Draw + Quick Sheath with whatever Greatsword you want, etc.

HBG sticky/cluster build and AT Kirin is a total joke. Just stun lock and drop bombs. Free Element/Ammo up and Razer Sharp/Spare Shot will go a long way.
