Best Ice weapon?

I'm using a longsword and a greatsword that has the element of ice. I want to know whats the best ice weapon that has good attack for killing the Lunastra.

Kjarr Ice CB or Kjarr Stream bow probably, Legiana bow is still pretty good though. Kjarr Ice DBs are BiS but I hate using sever vs Luna. Raw damage is meta for LS. Elemental and Great Sword should never be used in the same sentence ever.

Edit: It's not necessarily optimal but I bet the Kjarr ice LS would do perfectly fine.

Kjarr strongarm ice(CB) and kjarr bow stream probably the best. That cb can rip diablos and lunas pretty easily. 200~300 damage per phial attack.

Not sure About LS or GS elemental though. But can try it though

any fast weapon with ice or water beat luna easy so check weapons that have higher element dmg and craft AT kulv weapons kjar weapons there all element dmg weapons but not the highest in element dmg.

The low attack makes it not worth using though compared to DS, Kjarr Decay, and Jho LS which all do way more damage when used against Lunastra and most likely every monster.

She's not weak to Water, use Ice or Dragon if you can't use Ice.

Fire & Ice DB is pretty solid since she's also fairly weak to the Blast effect it has.
I don't like promoting Kjarr weapons right away since you need to win the Kulve lottery for any of those.

Honestly you're better off using a raw greatsword, elemental greatswords are not that good and you will have bad sharpness. Fast hitting small weapons are far better for applying elemental damage. The only element you need on a greatsword is the rocket fuel element, get Wyvern Ignition Impact from the event if you still haven't and use it with an elementless jewe. As for longswords Legia Stealer is pretty good until you can get your hands on one of the Kulve Taroth weapons, either Taroth or Kjarr, it's an overall upgrade for Legia Stealer, they do come with hidden element but Kjarr sword in particular comes with a critical element skill so that's pretty good, on top of more natural white sharpness.

Kjarr Ice CB is so busted it beats fire CBs on Kirin and water CBs on Teo.
Any meta ice bow or ice LBG will still be good against Luna.
Kjarr Ice IG is good as long as you're not using Weakness Exploit.
No GS beats Wyvern Ignition against any monster including Luna. For LS, you might be better off using Reaver Calamity because it will be impossible to keep Peak Performance up.
