In need of PHYSICAL help with nergigante tail

Thing doesnt drop, cut it off 6 times by now and no tails... I need a friend to speed up the process! Thanks in advance

when you carve the tail after cutting it off you literally always get a tail. and sometimes a gem XD

eh. just do investigations then. and keep cutting the tail. its really not that rare tbh. his gem is much worse compared.

your asking for a friend will make it worse like others told you already. in mutliplayer tailcut treshold is like 8 times higher than solo so hell probaly die before it comes off. partbreaks are easiest solo by far. unless its someone super overgeared which is basically a carry.

Always solo for tail carves.

Do investigations. Odds are you'll get a tail as the reward if you don't get it as a drop.

what is his tail even needed for? i totally forgot. his weapons are outclassed by others at around the time they are fully available anyway.

that weapon is no longer a good choice as of today. go for deviljho instead. way better choice overall and will stay with you far longer. you have access that by the time you fight nerg already just do the special assignment. while nergs final weapon form requires you to finish the story completly first. deviljho does not.

nergs weapons have the huge downside of not beeing able to get white sharpness. you want white sharpness especially on LS. jho provides you with that option before you even fight nerg. plus nergs helmet literally negates the affinity penalty by itself nearly. add rath chest or teo arms for easy 50% affinity on weakspots.

get handicraft charm 2 and death stench legs. you now have handicraft 4 and thus jho has a decent chunk of white sharpness. this will carry you trough the rest of the game with ease till you can farm drachen armor via plunderblade. nerg helmet is a pretty decent meta piece for LS aswell.

they where decent on launch. now they are outclassed sadly. cool design tough. one of the very few unique designs.

Maybe they just want to craft whatever weapon they want instead of doing what everyone else does :). I agree with everything you said (I'm a LS user) though. On my first run I did try and craft everything that looked cool to me. I worried about all that other stuff later.
