Namechange for Palico´s

Hello All here and I hope an Capcom member will answear to for this little Question,

First my English is not the Best, but through my Mind goes a Question why you cant rename a Palico? i mean it gives a Time who i say yes the name is okay but after many houers i wish me a Namechange for my Palico why i cant do this i mean i understand it Completly that the bound to the Palico will be so stronger but it gives moments who i overthink the name from my palico and i want/wish me a other Name beause the old name nerves me actualy and makes it for me negativ as Experience that i cant Rename it, without to deleat the Charakter and Creat a new one after many houers and the mainstory completly through played you dont want to deleat this Charakter so my Question is why you cant rename the Palico after many Hoers one Time I hope it gives a way this to make and i hope a Capcom Member can Help me with this without a deleated Charakter i think many Peoples wish a Namechange for thear Palicos so its possible that gives a way ?

idk why Capcom won't let you change the name of your Palico or your hunter tbh.

I know quite a few people on here who have complained about it. I think there are some mods that allow it. Not sure

i know in some of the old games there were reasons for it, but in world im not 100% sure why it wouldnt be a thing.

i've been contemplating renaming my cat Sasage, because the color scheme i game him is the exact same two colors that make up the sausage you feed him at the end of a hunt. and i found this hillarious as it was unintentional.

I feel sorry for you, don't delete your character, there are ways.

Imagine then that they will release a new voucher that you must buy in order to rename the hunter, the palico and to reedit the palico? That would suck, as it does the DLC to edit the character.

I have named my Palico Gata, which means "Cat" (femalte) literally. I wanted to call it Mini, as is the name of my actual cat that was my inspiration for it. But I never went to and done it really.

I mean a way without a Mod because i am not a Frind of Things what change somthing in a Game like MHW i mean yes it is a way but not an Official Way

Unfortunately, no. There is currently no official way to change your hunter or palico's name.

Well, they added Palico edit vouchers with Iceborne and you still can't change your Palico's name, so unfortunately it's going to have to be through unofficial means.

This is Sad to hear but i hope we can bring it the Officials near that we need the Option to Change it but it will only goes then the Community bring it near to them, thats what i hope to tell/reach them with this Discussion I mean in older games it worked to with a Namechange from the Palico so why not here on a official way?

Also what's wrong with using a mod that fixes some of capcoms stupidity/greed?

If you really want to spend money that badly then download the mod, use it and donate $2.99 to a charity.
