Help, I want someone to join my expedition!

I want to invite someone to play a mission we're both on. The mission is "Find the campsite in the Ancient Forest", but I don't see the job when searching for it in "post a quest".
Am I doing anything wrong?

I don't think you see your own hunts listed on the board. To keep it simple, go into any hunt, and fire a SOS flare. This makes it visible to anyone that wants to join.

expeditions and quests are two different things. you get quest from the board/handler, expedition is simply opening the world map on going to the hunting grounds itself. i don't think you need anyone's help for that though, you can invite someone on quests with large monsters.

Can I limit it to just my friend? Cuz I wanted to play with them online.

So it isn't possible to invite a friend along just so we can play together?

not for expeditions, nope. only for quests.
also i think you can limit the sos flare join settings, try to find and check join request settings

instead of having to find the track u just need someone with a higher rank and post the quest Kushala Daora when finishing that monster it will let u complete the "Find the campsite in the Ancient Forest" quest

I don't think the Kushala Daora quests makes you unlock the campsite. If so, that's one hell of a requirement just to unlock a camp.

OP, you can go into an expedition, fire off a SOS flare, and cancel it after your friend joins. That's about the only way other than doing a quest and selecting, "Go back to camp" with your friend.

oh sorry, i didn't know you were serious, but from what i understand, the guy is probably just getting started with the first expedition in the game, so i don't think he can even join a kushala daora quest because of the rank restriction.
