Monster Hunter World PC Version How to Level up (HR) Hunter Rank?
Good day! im a new player to monters hunter world, its a great game i already played 550 Hours straight, i always go Solo in the game as i used to be a solo player in most of online games i played.

But i was so puzzled in this game cause i am only Hunter Rank 15.
i played more than 550 hours in the game.
finished Assigned quest upto 3 elder dragons ( Teostra, Kushala and Vaal Hazak )
slayed nergigante lots of times to be able to get its armor set.

considering the amount of time and effort i put in im stuck in HR 15
while during online i saw a lot of player upto HR 500.

can i ask how to do that?
im stuck at HR 15 For like 3 weeks now.

i saw a lot of online video hunting great jagras via investigation
but when i tried it only my PALICO gets the XP increase not my character.
am i doing something wrong?

if your a PC PLAYER of Monster hunter world
please do share a tip on how to level up,
Any PC player out there who can share the tip on how to rise my Hunter Rank?
i feel stuck in HR 15, and im reaching end of the storyline now.

im desperate to know and your help will surely be appreciated by me and all player who encounter the same trouble as i do.

hoping for good response.

Thank you.

Hunter Rank goes up at set points in the story, till you complete the story, then you can grind it higher.

You've put a lot of effort on this bait, congratulations.
Edit: Wait, did you type it wrong? 550 or 50 hours?

This must be troll thread. There is no way any normal person would spend 550 hours in game without completing story just killing random monsters for no good reason.

you can check my gameplay record in MHW.
im a hardcore player,
a type of person if i like the game i tend to collect things.

for instance i collect the armor set of monsters in low rank before i proceed to next story line.
if i defeat the monster at first time i tend to hunt it again until i get its armor set before i move on to the next quest.
well lets just say its my way of playing games and i enjoy doing it.
i explore places, collect a lot, craft a lot.
afterall monster hunter game allow us to do it.
and when i do it i feel like a real life hunter lol that is just me.

On top of that i play Solo, always doing solo hunt,
f i fail i hunt the lower monster or find way to defeat tougher one so i can wear it armor and eat the monster who is giving me hard time.

I play a lot compare to other people in this game and i only play monster hunter for morethan a month if im not mistaken.

overall i played like 600 hours now,
to give you idea im also playing games like eve online for 13 years now :)
playing as much as 18 hours per day usually 12 hours a day.

i work online as well so i have no problem staying in MHW whole day cause i can do multitask.

so that 500 hours ehem 600 hours is not a big thing for me, imagine playing game for 13 years lol.

and no, im not trolling :) im asking nicely.

Pretty much, not sure how it works myself but I think it depends on how many quests you complete and their rank.
After completing the story my rank jumped straight up to 29

You get for every quest basicly exp, the point is you dont see the HR exp
bar until you are done with the Story Endboss (Land of Convergence)

At HR29 you get again a cap until you defeat the two
tempered B52 (it allow you to do T2 tempered then)
and at Hr49 is the last cap with a Tempered Kirin (it also allow you to do T3
and arch tempered events and all other HR50+ Events)

At HR100 you also unlock a quest that change your name color permanently after you clear it

Btw there is nothing wrong with farming everything, but be warned you
only have 1k space in your armory box

And Lowrank + Highrank and Kulve stuff let it nearly explode ^^

It'll probably jump to around 100 after you beat all the HR breakpoints.
