Bomb support with emails. Nothing you post on steam will have any effect other than pissing off other steam users.

typically what i do when a game does something like this.

i'll do something i'd put off or was thinking of doing after i game for a bit. its not like MHW is the only game doing this to people. but for whatever reason this question keeps coming up despite this resource called GOOGLE. it has the answers by now with atleast 20 or so discussion about this having been made.
Wow, asking questions in a forum dedicated to discussion and asking questions about a game you purchased with your money... you are right dood, the nerve of some people!
i know right? when i could search "monster hunter world skip cutscenes" in google and find all 20 of the discussion boards that already exist! its weird people forgot this mega corp search engine even exists or what it does.

In the interview about Iceborne the head dudes were asked if cutscenes would be skippable, but replied with a "No" and that they worked hard on the game and would like the cutscenes to play out. I think this is fair.

Sounds dumb IMO. Just make the ****ing cutscenes unskippable first time through only. From then on let the player decide if they want to watch them.

If "dumb" made as much money as MHW I'd be set for life. :steammocking:

Yeah, unless there's a very technical reason behind the unskippable cutscenes (which I sincerely doubt), it just comes across as the MH team desperately trying to say something like "See, guys? We can do story! Right??! See!!!?"

And that's really, really sad.

Cynical

1. believing that people are motivated by self-interest; distrustful of human sincerity or integrity.

2. concerned only with one's own interests and typically disregarding accepted or appropriate standards in order to achieve them.

And no, I wasn't referring about the MHW dev team with this quote.
