just avoid the dragon blight, that makes you weaker

I can only get dragon blight resis level 1 from charm, is there any item that takes it away?

try to get your dragon res to 20, or get 3 points of Blight res, Dragon blight removes all elemental damage for the duration and that hurts DB's a lot. other then that do your best to avoid damage, and possibly get different armor then Zorah, like Ratholos helm and chest can give you some nice damage stats.

Don't let the mouth touch you, that's how you get Defense Down.

Also, he will grab just about any other monster in the game and use them as a club, watch out for that. Lots of damage and again, Defense Down.

Before you fight, just throw away your Zorah set. make something out of Ingot and Rathian set for Health boost lvl 3 skill

Honestly, the lance is this game's easy mode. Watch some YouTube tutorial videos about it, go to the training room, get comfy with it, then enjoy blocking everything the game throws at you :)

the pickle is a pretty standard anji like monster. only special thing he does is his 5+ hit walking combo making him have a wider cone of damage directly forward vs the anji fire beam which is his only "dangerous" attack.

he also likes to backstep dragon breath which is a pain to deal with if you use elemental weapons. he is pretty quick with it so i can be hard to superman dive it.

his other killer move is the stomp, if he knocks you back with a direct hit, he likes to follow up with a slam afterwards so having your slinger ready will keep him from 2 shotting you.

other than this you just need to play defensively. he is aggressive so getting bounced around until you are stunned is pretty easy, if you are too aggressive.

It took me a while to remember you can use slinger ammo when knocked down on your back, so I kind of adapted to, well, NOT letting that happen to begin with. My go-to weapon for Picklejho is a long sword.

Dragon blight puts a temperay seal on your weapon element, and watch out for defense down.

When he's exhausted, his bites will cause defense down, when he's enraged (swollen body, glowing red) he'll do his dragon breath attack. I don't know what has changed for Dragonblight here, I'm sure it's just the same as it was in 4th gen. It will disable your weapon's element and status attack.

the change to the breath is that it also takes the properties of his environment. only really noticeable in the vale where his breath will also give the miasma debuff and cut your health.

I was talking about Dragonblight, not Jho. lol
