How do i get "Zorah Magdaros gem"? / High rank tips

So i just entered High Rank and i got extremely overwhelmed immedietly. But i decided to make the Zorah armor a priority. How do i get the gem for him? Is it rare because i need 2 of them for the weapon and armor.

Also any tips for high rank would be extremely helpful.

when he comes around, the arch tempered fight helps a good deal. beyond that busting all magma cores and just hunting him whenever you can.

and beyond that if his fight bores you, its worth getting the gold tickets for his gem.

wearing Great luck armor set or eating for luck to boost rewards also helps.

I would skip over Zorah armor, it gets outclassed really fast

Ah okay, i just got a gem when killing Zorah the second time.

the zorah gem isnt really all that rare anyway. i would use these prints when you REALLY need a gem from a elder and it just refuses to drop it. normal monsters are much faster and easier to get gems from due to captureing i found. zorah gem isnt used in too many items either from what i can see. nerg gem and daora/toaster gem seem to be used the most with xeno comeing next in total.

Ah okay, i just got a gem when killing Zorah the second time.

In my experience the quest doesn't show up for me that often but zorah seems to drop gems far often than other monsters

yeah i only suggest using a ticket on zorah if your having really bad RNG, since unlike an investigation, where you could get gold reward boxes to drop gems, zorah is pure quest rewards box and break rewards only.

but like i said, if you need his gem for something, best bet is to use tickets for quest rewards, use great luck armor set, eat for feyline luck, or if hes being a pest and not dropping the gem and you really are sick of doing his quest, just throw a gold print at it.

typically i hold onto my prints for daora or luna gems. dont like fighting daora and luna likes to be a pest and not drop gems for me.
