Scariest monster in the series
What is the monster that scares you the most in the series?

Mine would have to be those golden "not-shakalakas". Dear god that chain combo is terrifying. Only thing that could be worse is if they fused them with the king shakalaka.

EDIT:
I would rather be in a tiny arena vs 10 super level 140 Teostra, 10 Crimson Fatalis, 200 Deviljho and have a yellow sharpness stick.

Probably Khezu for me. Looks like something out of a horror movie.

khezu looks like something you would find in an adult novelty store.

Meme answer: Khezu, because he's a winged testicle with a toothy floppy penis attached.

IRL fear answer: Valstrax, seeing a dragon in the sky is already a pants-shitting experience, and elder one is even more terrifying, a JET POWERED elder dragon is the kind of shit that makes you surrender to your new scaly overlord and accept the sweet embrace of death.

Eldritch Abomination answer: Yama Tsukami, that thing looks straight out of a D&D manual. It's a horrible creature that it's completely alien to how we perceive life. Looks like an experiment that first went wrong and then gained sentience. Killing it it's the kind of thing that one classifies as a favor to reality.

Existential Horror answer: Dalamadur/Zorah Magdaros/The rest of the GIANT monsters, the sheer magnitude of such a lifeform would shatter the mind of weaker people. Just accepting that something that vast exists is hard to believe... but then you entertain the thought that there might be more of them, living under the surface of the planet, lurking, mating... what would happen to the planet if they were to have a terriotrial fight? a mass migration of giant lifeforms would cause unspeakable damage to the entire biosphere. This thoughts would consume you, suddendly every tremor, every big wave, every unnatural strong wind would have a scary story behind it... every day could be the day the world ends.

gonna have to say the handler, hands down. sure there are some monsters that are more annoying to fight, but nothing really scary about them.

handler on the other hand.... she never. ever. stops. eating...

sitting at table? eating.

Standing near your item box when you fly to camp? yeah she wasnt sorting your items she has food in there. dont be suprised if some of your supplies are missing in iceborne when she gets hungry.

heh that'd be a mean thing, normally high rank and beyond guild supplies come in delayed in past games, master rank, handler will occasionally eat some.

The bigger it is, the more horrible nightmarish apocalyptic monsters it can fit.
