Is it a modded quest or have I overlooked something? What do you get for completing it if it's not a modded quest?
Just to be clear the only monsters I know of are the basic quest Leshen and then the Ancient Leshen from the Woodland Spirit quest.
Yeah Ancient Leshens fight is pretty depressing. My only real gripe with it though is the fact you can have 20 minutes of progress wiped because he only becomes a real threat in the last 5 minutes.
I'd rather have his end of hunt phase from the start, where he's fully powered up and ready to drop one hit party wipes at a moments notice fought for like 10 - 15 minutes, than having to sit through 20 minutes of wearing him down in a pointless repetitive dance, to be honest. Give him like, 25,000 HP and put him in end hunt mode from the start, for some fun.
Waste less time to squad wipes that way.
If you commit enough time to learn all his garbage aoe attacks you can find small openings, that's how 20-30 minute kill times are feasible, but even then it's only with LS, DB and the such.
Doing it solo is a waste of time and sanity, but so is doing it online.
