really? They should have just made it a normal with the same level of elderseal, dealing 1 damage. no reason to do what they did with it now.
Maybe I mistyped, it's more that monsters are more resistant to dragon element than what the game says

oh, makes more sense. Maybe we will get a truly weak to dragon monster in iceborne.

Would be kind of funny to kill a monster with the can of coke

I've never used cluster bombs. Except maybe in the arena, where they've obviously sucked because everything else in the arena also sucks.

Just how good are they? If they're getting nerfed in Iceborne, should I do some cluster bombing to experience the "raw power" or would it be better to remain ignorant, since ignorance is bliss?

All I know is rocksteady + health booster = dead monster. I don't know how or why. What kind of damage are we looking at from a proper cluster bomb build? And uh, what kind of stuff do cluster bomb builds use? The Deviljho HBG?

yeah we'll see how it stacks up in iceborne. might still be the same might get a nerf. havn't heard much about it.

it was already nerfed in the beta

about 10% less damage and you can only carry 5 bomberry
ah k i didnt know about the bomb berry limitations. thats good though, it'd be awful to jsut be able to cheese MR with nothing but cluster builds.

though 4 people packing spare shot clust builds could still probably cheese fights as a team.

Team Darkside already cheesed beotodus with 4 people flame shot spamming, looks like elemental might get cheesy

it did recieve a considerable buff and there isnt a cap on element anymore as far as we know.

so more or less im gonna guess element just got the buff it needed to remain a competetive option in master rank end game. early master rank i wouldnt doubt its gonna be OP as ♥♥♥.

Well you can just look at examples, like this one - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bK2ZLsMwpG4

It could be done even better, since in that video monster actually stayed not knocked down longer than 30 seconds.

Although it might not seem like it bow and spread hbg are close range weapons and might need even more skill to use close up than melee weapons for their elemental dmg resistance vs physical dmg resistance of melee weapon, also with bowguns you need to manage ammo and distance or you're in world of hurt. Also while lbg might be safest of them, being far away from monsters has its downsides at somepoints, let's take at xeno as example, dodging the instakill beam is gonna be harder because its long range and not having superman dive if you're too far away from the monster. Sure they can be devestating in sertain situations but what weapon wouldn't.
Don't forget that outside of Critical Distance you do 1 damage and if Out of Range you do 0!!!!
which is why I said "you need to manage your ammo and distance"

That's like "cheesing" jagras. Doesn't say anything yet.

The answer to literally every "Monster X is hard" post is first "git gud" and second "lol just cheese it with hbg" or "lol with lbg it's so easy". Saying it's not broken is totally delusional
