0) join existing session with other players;
1) get into the mission and fire SOS;
2) do not do anything (to prevent carting), wait for people to join;
3) if nobody joined after 10 minutes - restart. Most likely servers simply did not broadcast your alert.
Also try to play SOS missions during peak hours.
Thanks for the tips! :)
Ayy, I appreciate the welcome! ^-^ I'm actually really excited about MHW, since I've been in a gaming slump for so long now, and it's probably the first game in many months to truly garner any real passion in me. Happy hunting!
Thanks for taking the time to type this up, really. I definitely won't shy away from seeking help when it's needed; I've done so in the past and struggled needlessly, and it just overall sucks the fun out of the whole experience. I just made some Legiana armor with the help of someone else kind enough to lend me a hand, so I think I'll stick with that for now until I get to the good stuff! :)
