u have lot of issues with internet and u get disconnect everywhere in MHW?
try use some monitoring software for your internet connection..
My connection used to be completely fine, was able to prepare, co-ordinate and hunt Extremoth with a group of friends with no issue. My network settings have not changed since then, but now I'm disconnecting left and right.
We shouldn't be having so many server issues on a game that uses P2P connection. I really hope Capcom looks into fixing this issue before Iceborne comes out or else that'll be getting review slammed for connection issues like the main game did on release.
This really does sound like there is something in your end. Maybe a router or isp issue.
And discord isnt p2p service so not a good measure.
It actually forced me to stop playing. Oh well, I pretty much completed everything the game has to offer. I'll just wait until Iceborne or until Capcom fixes the issue.
I got this issue for a very long time, I stopped playing for a few months and hope they have fixed this problem, but when I played yesterday the issue kept happening, I didn't have a problem with my ISP, I used Steam Voice with no disturbances, but on game i keeps being disconnected from the session
Far smaller investment than having fully dedicated servers would be my guess.
@OP I stopped having issues once I opened my router's NAT and forwarded all the proper ports. NAT most likely did the trick. Haven't DC'd from a lobby or quest since, knock on wood.
