What to do with the vouchers?
Im new to the game and wondering what to do with the vouchers/coupons you get for daily login.
Should I safe them for later when I have a higher hunter rank?
Also - how to pay for the meals before the hunt? Should I use money or the points to pay?

Always use your 5th one since you can't carry any more than that, so you're not wasting any additional ones you collect each day you decide to log in.

Otherwise, I think they offer additional rewards and zenny when you complete a mission, which makes them desirable for farming annoyances for rare materials - Vaal Hazak for his fangs and Xeno'jiiva for his horns, for example.

I personally used all of mine with a Great Luck! armour set when farming Zorah Magdaros for gems, but that's less important now Arch Tempered exists and just drops the things like candy.

Pretty much use them when you want some gear I suppose. Say you've got a hankering for some Odogaron armour, and you kinda don't feel like fighting him 3-6 times to make the full set. Simply pop one of the vouchers and then fight him, you'll get more rewards, making the whole thing less hassle.

For meals, never use a voucher or points. The voucher is best saved for when you need to eat a specific meal - I.E trying to trigger Felyne Moxxie for Arch Tempered Nergigante - or during events like Kulve Taroth Siege if you feel like being a good sport and using one in the canteen.

Research points are required elsewhere - for delivery quests, for your Tailraider Safari payment, for your harvest box fertiliser costs, and for buying shipments from the Argosy.

Always pay with zenny. 300 really isn't that much, a single successful hunt covers the cost of 20 or so meals at the canteen anyway. High value!

There are login vouchers and meal vouchers.

Login vouchers just give you double zenny, and they say you get more rare drops, but I don't know if that was a joke, or just speculation. Basically, just use them up on anything that has a good zenny payout. You'll always get more.

Meal vouchers are obtained by making Poogie love you (pat him after every hunt until a lot of hearts come out of him) and then carry him up just to the right of the Handler at the canteen. If he starts squealing and bouncing in your arms, you can drop him down and he'll dig up a meal voucher. These vouchers guarantee that you get all of the food bonuses, so they're great for custom meals with benefits that fit your current needs. This affects everyone in the session, too!

Pet Poogie after each mission and eventually you'll notice a difference :steamhappy:

After that you can carry it around until it starts to fidget, putting it down will cause it to dig something up for you. There's a huge amount of dig spots to be found, some of which offer unique rewards!

I mostly used it in the early game to get the free dung from near the monster platform, but I don't bother with it anymore. Also if you want to damage Poogie's affection towards you, drop them in the canteen near the Meowscular Chef while asking for bacon and eggs with a side of pork chop sandwiches. That does the job right quick.

Yep, Poogie loves pats. You have to keep petting him after hunts or his "affection meter" will go back down (to clarify, just one petting after each hunt), but while he loves you you can bring him to certain spots around town to gain certain items and even a couple costumes for him to wear.

Bonus point: The Pro Transporter skill allows you to carry Poogie around town more quickly. This can save some time when you want to run him up to the canteen.

Isn't it way faster to do the event quest for vouchers tho? Takes a couple minutes to trounce the trio of LR mons, usually get 3 ticket-ish.

One thing not pointed out is I think if you log in and you have max vouchers, if you don't press the collect button, you can save them there, and they stack. So you can collect multiple vouchers for multiple days after spending them.

Noidea how vouchers affect drops or drop rate, I pop em usually during event quests but don't see much of a difference. AT Vaal still dropped just 1 ticket.

You don't need to stockpile vouchers at all. Go ham.

True, but that's an event quest. The event isn't always going to be available. Poogie is always available, though he also isn't guaranteed to find a voucher if you bring him to the handler.

Do you know if theres a limit for this?

I am slowly working up my hunter rank and cant do event quests at this point.
Also trying the different weapons.
Do I get a loss in damage with Sword&Shield combo?
BTW thanks all for the tips :cozybrawlhalla6:
