Campaign Coop?
Hello, can you play the campaign together with other ppl later on? I don't like going through storymodes alone.

And if we can, does it complete for both in 1 go?

Thanks in advance <3:lunar2019grinningpig:

You can play any mission with someone as soon as you have seen any cutscenes for it. Completion counts for both people.

You can complete the entire campaign in coop, but there is a little catch. Missions with cutscenes in them force the host to go in solo, and the host has to see the cutscene before they are allowed to use the SOS system to call for backup.

So basically coop in the story goes like this:
  • All players start their own hunt.
  • All players see the cutscene in their hunt.
  • One person stays in their hunt and fires an SOS.
  • Everyone else joins that SOS.
  • Everybody gets credit for the fight.

It's clunky, but the campaign is often a tiny fragment of time that most players spend in this game. For all non-story content, you simply party up in town, go into the hunt together, and hunt the monster without any headaches.

is there a mod or something that could make it so we can just watch it together like every other game that ever did coop?

You do NOT need to fire an SOS if everyone is in the same session. Careful with spreading misinformation.
