Honestly that's good. A huge chunk of monster hunter ever since Portable 2ndG/Freedom Unite was the cat companions as a huge part of the story and lore of the series. They've been there and always reliable. People who don't want that should probably just find a different game.
The only acceptable substitute is that for punishment for removal you have to do that meme scream of that dude in agony... but put it at a level that just ruins your ears and is not mutable by volume controls.
This thread is impawsabble, what kind of meowster would want to remove cat puns
That's probably the dumbest thing I've heard considering you can remove your Palicoe from joining you in solo sessions, and I've played MH since PS2 days. If someone doesn't like them, that's definitely not a reason to abandon the game. Plus if he wants to mod it out then that's his decision.. and don't get me started on the MH "story", or lack of rather.
