question about augmented high rank weapons to g-rank
simply, will you upgrade augmented weapons to g-rank and get the parts and hero/warrior stones refunded (fully or partly) or the g-rank trees will be separated from the rest?

yeah we honestly have no clue, in past games like MH4 weapon augmenting was a thing, but it was for G rank weapons if i remember right which in this case will be master rank.

so we can only speculate but my guess is augmenting will just be a thing starting at high rank, they may change it so weapons that end in rarity 9 will be 2 slot and rarity 10 will be 1 slot, and rare 8s will become the new 3 slot augments during G rank. meaning the current slot loadouts will remain the same as all those weapons will likely be upgradeable into G rank of the same rarity tier.

to simplify it, the current rarity end tiers are 6, 7, and 8 being the highest, but for some of the craftable stuff they will be getting new G rank upgrades as we saw with the new graphics and the fact they are master rank upgrades. so rare 6 weapons will likely end on tier 8 now, tier 7 will end on tier 9, and current tier 8 will upgrade to the new max tier of tier 10, or tier X pending on how they go about it.

the only weird factor for this theory is kulve taroth weapons, for that, my guess is a 2nd augmentation step for master rank is probably gonna take place to add slots to things like that, or they will HOPEFULLY cut the BS and just let us do a master rank upgrade on them by fighting a master rank version of her and using materials to do so. we can only hope thats the case though.

no no and no on kulve cancer ♥♥♥♥. just let these weapons DIE with iceborne and go back to a proper crafted weapons meta. i hope her weapons just get phased out entirely by iceborne. heck make it so you can trade em in for points or materials whatever but no upgrade. sick of BASIC IRON KATANA WITH GOLD BEEING the endgame weapon design. that is lazy wrong and boring as ♥♥♥♥.

hopefully the e3 hands on demo will show the new upgrade tree amoung other things. otherwise we wont get that important info bit till release on console. as gamescon is too close to console release. doesnt matter anymore what they show there as its literally less than 14 days from launch at that point.

nah i agree, i am also sick of the kulve weapons being the end tier meta.

i miss the days of giant stone fist hammer and frozen tuna...

my guess is kulve wont be the only siege monster anymore done in that style. meaning similar siege drops will be a thing. the real question is, are they gonna completely change kulve so its possible to just craft her stuff along with any other future siege monster, or if they are gonna be random drops on the others as well.

because if they brought in Lao shan or something as a siege fight or dalamadur, i doubt they'd just have em drop weapons since they were always craftable in the past.

i hope that JOY was sarcasm XD the idea and the fight itself where alot of fun. the first 30 times. then it got extremely DULL really quickly for me. but when you hit 300 times and still miss weapons you want that simply goes too far. at that point you get bored to death by it.
yeah pretty much.

she is a good way to grind for cash though with all those extra garbage weps selling for so much. and her materials you only need for 15 things at the most.

i mean she is basically just a walking money bag after a point with a possible bonus for a good weapon from another perspective.

i love joining a kulve siege with a guaranteed no-victory because the siege level is not high enough for the run, it's the best thi-LET'S WRAP IT UP-

A: Create a G-Rank weap out of the box
B: Upgrade an H-Rank to a G-Rank weap with fewer mats
C: Scrap the weapon for mats

Prob power up with stones will be passed down to the new weapons with the uppgrade.

As for Armor and Kulve they will prob be total useless when Master Rank comes

G-rank kulve it's almost a given fact. Pretty impossible we won't see her in G-Rank.

yeah. no kulve in master rank. sorry. sick of that rng bs loot system. that monster was killed so much unless they fully redesign it should just die. add something new instead. if they copy paste the same boring rng grind with the same fight just with higher numbers again i am definitly outa this game for good. as that would just be the must uncreative ♥♥♥♥ i have seen in awhile.

its one thing to add another siege fight like it in master rank. but not copy and paste. when you did the same monster 200 times you ARE SICK OF IT and dont want to see it ever again.

theres huge chances heal steal get nerfed hard or completely removed becouse those G-weaposn are going to hit hard and we can already get a lot of sustain with the current weapons.

removed is unlikely. options are already super limited. takeing health steal out would literally force you on affinity/attack depending on weapon. may aswell not have augments then anymore as these are boring af.

hopefully the e3 demo answers this this week.
