Mods not working.
So i downloaded these mods from nexusmods.com and searched online for tutorials on how to downloaded and followed them but only some of my mods worked.
I downloaded the mods through the vortex app and elevated them.
All of them are installed correctly.
Please point out the mistakes i've made

Mods i downloaded:

https://www.nexusmods.com/monsterhunterworld/mods/331?tab=description

https://www.nexusmods.com/monsterhunterworld/mods/112

https://www.nexusmods.com/monsterhunterworld/mods/228/

https://www.nexusmods.com/monsterhunterworld/mods/303

so far only the Souvenir's Light Pillar mod and the Charge blade effects replaced Mod works. the other two don't (Black Odium Mod and the Longer Ponytail Mod)

EDIT:

I forgot to mention, I have 3 different installation paths for steam because i ran out of space. Maybe thats the problem? I'm not sure. Thank you guys for responding btw

I remember some folks saying that updates published by Capcom could mess with mod files and configs. Could be that. Maybe the makers of those mods have to update them too?

Never used the vortex app, but all of those seem to be purely cosmetic mods. Just dump the nativePC folder into the install folder, I've never had any issues with this.

I mean, the mods say to install manually: "How to install
1. chuck the wp folder in your nativePC folder.
( EX ☞ C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Monster Hunter World\nativePC\wp )
tip) this weapon mod folder is caxe folder."

did you try that?

Generally, texture mods are rarely affected by game updates.

typically anything that adds its own visual or auditory asset, doesnt need updated unless something was directly changed with what it affects. thats why the few mods i do use i havnt had to update since before Kulve was released on PC which these days is just NPCs in gathering hub and no camera snap from scout flies. if they did something to change the gathering hub layout or scoutfly behavior i'd have to pull em till the mod creator updated those but, those are things that wont be changed if at all till iceborne comes out.

I tried manually installing the mods but none of them seemed to work. I extracted the zip files and chucked it in the nativepc folder. Is there something i did wrong there?

Also tried the ponytail mod, could tell it worked on the character select screen. Sure you don't have something like Monster Hunter World (main folder) > nativepc > nativepc ?

In the case of the ponytail it should be main folder > nativepc > pl

"D:\Downloads\Steam For D.rive/steamapps/common/Monster Hunter World\nativePC\pl"
