Flinch Free due DualBlades users
So I keep getting stunned over and over when a DB is in my game and was thinking if Flinch Free is a musthave or i have to leave the weak spot to the weird naruto dude.
I don’t see that deco in the builds that i checked so I was wondering if there is something wrong with me

Ps: Im a SnS user

Guess I have to watch where the naruto guy is heading and dodge him ?

You'll never see builds with flinch free included in them because builds are designed without considering other players (except for support roles, of course).

All you can do is either add flinch free to your build somehow, try to stay away from the DB, or play solo. I guess you could kick them if they're doing it excessively as well...

When doing multiplayer, you often do want Flinch Free. You don't always need it, but it's nice not to have to worry about getting hit like that.

Some weapons benefit very little from FF because they have natural FF built in to most of their attacks, such as CB and DB.

you could also use rocksteady mantle to avoid attack stun from other player for that duration

SnS is one of those weapons you NEED to have flinch free on if you play multiplayer, lance and gunlance also like to have flinch free, only one level should be fine so you aren't knocked around by others

pretty much. lvl 3 i think is pretty much not necessary for many reasons.

If you and your teammates know their weapon roles and placement, you'll never need flinch free.

but most people in the game aren't smart or considerate. So, it's on you to decide. Do you want max deeps, or that QOL of having it?

its one of those things, got a set you like? you save it twice, one for solo/ coordinated team play, and one with flinch free in it to play with scrubs.

Well if you haven't caught on yet, those "meta" builds are just stupid if you want any survivability or quality of life at all.
I put health boost 3, stun resist 3 and flinch free 1 into everything not ranged.

i looked at some of those supposed meta builds, they feel like theorycraft more then reality, ive seen what randoms do, and the simple fact is that other people are gonna get you killed just as often as monsters

Thats the point, Meta builds are more or less builds for people who have mastered the game, can dodge roars perfectly and know what they are doing

But in multiplayer to be on the save side, you should as meele always think about flinchfree if you cant trust the skill of a pubby / random or if you have some "smart" mates who try to follow you if you already changed to a other weakspot and still try to flinchlock you.

Many people just copy them blind and cant wield them properly

95% of melee meta builds use at least 1 Critical Boost jewel, swap it with Flinch Free and you'll be fine.

If you're playing in multiplayer I don't see how you could play melee without flinch free.

You want to be attacking the weakspot, and if there are 3-4 people trying to hit the same weakspot it cannot be done reliably without hitting other players.

I've always been annoyed by the online etiquette of some DB or LS users, some of them go so far as to tell you to just slot a FF deco.
Makes me wonder if they had a deco that stopped your attacks from flinching allies how many of them would consider slotting them?
And also why do some of them ALWAYS go for the HEAD?!? Hammers to the front, cutters to the tail.....

It's one level 3 slot, there's really no excuse to not have it in MP unless you're in an organized run with people who understand MP mechanics.
