tfw you kill over 80 vaal hazaks and still no gold crown

i take all the correct investigations and kill AT and still no luck. haven't been able to find the black diablos after 40+ tries either. how long did it take you guys to find these?

I don't think the AT event quests spawn in larger sized variants. It's the tempered ones only as far as I understand it.

I haven't been trying to farm, but gotten semi-lucky on a few. RNG is just RNG.

yeah i am not entirely sure about that either. not like i have been farming AT but i do them once in a while because i heard a rumour they can give crowns too

still my most kills for any monster and i have all the other crowns. 215 is rough

Go investigation with gold reward and silver reward, and measure first before killing..took around 50 hrs to find him

It took me 125 Nergigantes until I got the Gold Crown, and 52 Vaal Hazak until I found his Mini Crown.

It's also RNG. Some people have HR 500 and they've still not found all of the crowns. Others are like not even HR 100 and have, lol. Fun stuff, indeed!

Can't wait for Iceborne and Mini / Gold crown endemic life! Remember how long it took you to find that X? Well now imagine looking for it again and hoping for it to be tiny or huge!

Glad you weren't the type of nerd who runs up to a monster, checks their size, and then leaves without killing it because it didn't look big or small enough. Those kinda people deserve all the terrible RNG they get! Be a man and play the game properly, I say!

246 Teostra for his gold crown large, im around at 300 teostra kills now lol. I got the Kirin crowns extremely easy for some reason though. rng is a ♥♥♥♥♥.

everyone here is making you waste time, just install smart hunter mod and go in a quest, the mod will tell you if it has crown or not, if it's silver/gold and big/small, just install it and enjoy not losing time doing hunts hundreds of times
