How much playtime could I get from this?

I got the game last night, it's my first MH and I'm quite enjoying it, but I've read somewhere that there's not much content, which got me worried...How much content is there really?How many hours could I get from the game?

World does indeed have much less content then previous games. Less quests(ignoring investigations), and much less creatures then the past few games.

That being said, its still monster hunter. So its going to have a LOT of content. Even playing through the game a second time and touching on end game is pretty easily 100 hours unless you bum rush it.

i have almost 1700 and i am still missing a few things i wanna do

i need to a rank a few of the arena missions i havent a ranked yet haha.

i was working towards banking 1000 vouchers but then i saw the iceborne preview showing gourmet vouchers so im not going above 564 regular vouchers ;p

Right! Thanks everyone for your help! I guess even if I just focus on one weapon type, I should still easily get a 100+ hours, if I do more than just the story.

100 is pretty common for just the story related stuff.

Not entierly sure why you seem to question that fact?, just because i dont have 100+ hours on mhw pc?, i have beyond 200 hours on MHW on ps4. I had waaay beyond that in MH4U, and i had around 200 hours on MHG.

at the 400 hours was when i got the last thing i needed from the game, waiting for another 400 hours in Iceborne

I have gotten pretty much everything I want in the game and I think there's only 2 more layered/proper armors that are available on PC in the next festival.

So, plus/minus maybe 10 hours (I did help carry a friend from low to high rank before), I would think you should have about the same amount of playtime if you are a collector too.

I still got stuff that I haven't complete even then so I would say the game has a pretty good playtime.

This is accounting for all the DLC releases so far.

Tbh I'm working on mhw lately, my PC is kinda meh and my fps tends to drop when fighting so playing on PC is kinda eh, but I have had the game since day 1 on ps4

600 hours and ongoing. I've done all content and scraped everything possible out of the game, BUT I've found other things to do to get more enjoyment out of it. I haven't even used half of the weapon types in this monster hunter yet. With iceborne on the way. I'm expecting to reach 1000 hours. Depends if you're a completionist and are okay with setting your own goals
