Those who are ignorant of it's awesomeness think it's a low tier weapon. Those who are aware of it's awesomeness don't want to think it's a low tier weapon. While it's amazing in groups if used properly ANY weapon is good against any monster if used properly, solo or group, so it's hard to make a case for it.

With it's lower-end numbers I suppose the appeal is the flashiness, which I'm glad to see Iceborne will be capitalizing on. Anybody played the demo and have info about how the new attack works? Is it a new button combo, mid-song "play" command or does it replace any current button combo's?

This gen made HH so much easier with that little cheat-sheet at the top of the screen telling you how to play the songs, if they are active and at what level they are active. Hope the bubbles are able to act as a zone to reapply the songs currently present on the HH so when (insert every other weapon but Gunlance ) carts they are quick to rebuff rather than having to play the entire song combo just to rebuff them alone.

Its very easy to tell unsalvagable noob from a player who is good or is on the way to being good.
Just ask him about HH.
If he thinks its bad instead of complex, its the first one.

i don't think the HH is particularly complex. It just requires more patience to properly and efficiently hit the songs and notes into monsters because it's slow. This is more on the person than it is the HH.

I'm not no expert on HH but people are just too impatience with slow weapons lol

the low dps its the biggest factor people stay away from i and the fact the weapon its just a DAMAGE XL meme, even with the damage XL buff the dps of the best HH around are subpar, now think others HH with useful buff but with no damage XL....yeah.
