Tailrider Safari: What do all the symbols and ratings mean?

Hi all. Just curious about what all the various symbols and rankings in the Tailrider Safari mean. Here are some of the things:

1. The paw symbol that sometimes appears on the different "tabs" of a mission
2. The paw rankings for Hunting, Gathering, and Research for a team
3. The star ratings on each tab
4. Also, why is there no blue tab that corresponds to the Research category, like there are for green and red?

Everything i'm going to write is based on some 5 min google research
1. Paw symbol shows if your palicos are assisted by small monsters. I think it can increase reward chances.
2. The ranking is tied to the relationships to the single grimalkyne tribes in the forest, waste and highlands
3. Indicates how "hard" it is for the safari squad to beat the mission. This is where the paw rating comes into play.

4. It seems research is a stat used to get more investigations from the safari.

I'm still confused by some of the symbols, so I'll do some more research.

Seems like the yellow stars might be the rank of the monster (or general difficulty, in the case of gathering?) for that mission.
