Maybe boosting crit dmg while aff booster is active or recovery speed on Healt booster?
boosters dont get slots. read the tutorial. it says how they work.
skills i could see useful in there for example are :
divine blessing on rocksteady. to reduce dmg eaten while useing it.
evade extender on evade mantle.
but dmg boosters dont fit a temporay tool. (unless you can kill the monster in 90 seconds now without beeing a speedrunner Xd)
Like maybe some Artillery or Weakness Exploit in my Rocksteady.
But like the others said. depending on what lvl 4 decos we get, this could be a way to fine tune builds for dmg spikes.

well lvl 4 decos are likely crit element razorsharp/spareshot m touch and maybe super recovery. especially element and m touch need to become decos. they limited gear choices way too much currently. we already get crit element and spare shot with single items right now so no reason for these to not become decos. m touch is simply so most melees are not bound by drachen omega again for good.
keep in mind only the really strong mantles dont get lvl 4 deco slots. these seem to be fixed as a way to make weaker mantles more attractive. temporal wasnt in the demo so hard to say. given its the best allaround mantle it might not even get any slots to compensate for its power. or only 1 lvl 1 slot.
You can ride to battle but the mount runs away if the scoutflies disappear. It would be a great way to prebuff, but the mount isnt actually manually controlled, it follows scoutflies, so it's going to be an issue where you already know where the monster is, but the scoutflies insist on gathering at least one track so you get railroaded into this track thing. It's also an issue that the scoutflies pathfinding is kind of stupid sometimes, so I hope they fix it.
I tend to build Vitality and a lot of tank into my base armour slots, so what I'm currently theory-crafting for myself is I could slap some damage boosts onto Rocksteady and use it as a makeshift Berserker mode.
Although, now that you mentioned it, I could try to slap on Tool Specialist into both my Mantles and use them to reduce each other's cooldown.
Do you guys think if the slotted deco effects will persist after the Mantle's effects have worn off but you're still wearing it? Because you don't actually take off the Mantle in the middle of combat unless you specifically remove it yourself.
i doubt that works.
but i am not sure maintenace skill will work on mantles. would be kinda cheesy somehow.

sadly we didnt get any of the actual important infos. like layered armors and deco rng bs and cancerstone rng bs.
as for gear stats they are clearly trying to hide these. kinda pointless to do that for pc players due to delay well get to know ANYWAY. so might aswell spoil these for everyone.
Also bro evade mantle with evade extender decos...that sound crazy as ♥♥♥♥, those i-frames bro.
Fireproof mantles with +3 fire res for example, or Vitality Mantles with Def or Divine Protection stuff that enhance the mantle's effect. One thing I wanted them to do is copy Dragonproof mantle's effects. for the other elemental mantles. If you wear fireproof mantle, your fire damage increases, etc.
