Master Rank armour...

Me: New player starting in August. 30 hours into Monster Hunter World building 60% of the LR armour sets

Monster Hunter World: HR armour...

Me: Sells it all including Palico gear and starts building HR armour sets. Hears about iceborne and ducks head in sand to avoid spoilers.

- 110 hours later beating most of the game and building 50% of the hr armor sets.

Whelp some1 call me when iceborne comes out on PC so I can sell all my HR armour.

There are master rank versions of every armour, making all HR armour obsolete.

Well, yes. That's how every rank works.

Though there aren't currently master rank versions of the gamma sets from arch tempered monsters or the drachen set from behemoth, so those are still unique.

Oh, and the Dante set. And the Geralt/Ciri sets.

Pretty much any crossover content, really.

i keep every piece of armor i ever used. after 1000+ hours you can look back and see how far you progressed.

why did you even craft so many sets.... honestly most weapons share the same 'best' skills then use decorations per weapon traits.

if play with all 14 weapons, i can't see you needing more then 5-6 armor sets...

Actually, a new monsters here and there are not present in MR (yet), regular jho, bazel, and vall first come to mind. No MR Xeno or Zorah (tho Zorah's armor can be crafted)

Well, gunlance alone requires at least three different sets depending on your shelling type, so, you may be a bit off there.

who cares you cant compete with armor level 460 vs 800
literally everything will one hit with such a low armor lvl
the mr bonearmor is already at 570 and has acceptable skills a bit of everything

Been playing iceborne on xbone for 2 days. Joined some sos & I can't believe how many low hr people running around master rank. HR40 & below. Carting left & right. Wow.

But this isnt a competition game, and alot of people dont necessairy go into MR first.
