Poogie Items

** 2 Question **

I've been trying to narrow down the best spot to drop my faithful piggy

Best so far - fish left side stockpile vendor - mega pot, herbal med, (rarely) max potion

1 ** Does anyone know a spot with ancient potion?

2 ** if you have a fav spot, where and what?

Well if your new to the poogs let me give you some pro tip:


New POOGIE clothes
-drop him hear the research dude (sitting on the books)
-near huntmaster blademaster dude (near the white flag)
-once you slay xeno drop him at the perch above the workshop

Vagueness intended GL hunter !>!

lots of google guides exist on costumes but not much on items

Also, daily petting poogie increases your OVERALL LUCK stat x2

You must be doing something with all that zenni ??

I always seem to have plenty of zenni so I didn't value the voucher

What am I missing?


edit: Its a long walk up to the handler with poogs for a voucher that saves me some zenni

edit edit: the tradeyard offers items you probably use everyhunt, or should !

voucher means you get guaranteed foodbuffs even without freshh ingredients, aka always blackbelt and sharpshooter for the bow

the swine follows you everywhere you go when you had pet it often enough so simply visit the canteen and prepare your items for the next fight and poogie will appear at the canteen.

voucher means you get guaranteed foodbuffs even without freshh ingredients, aka always blackbelt and sharpshooter for the bow

That sounds good but only really need guaranteed fresh if you've failed a hunt

I still feel items in and around tradeyard offer quickest best rewards.

it takes poogie forever to get up to canteen, i'd prepare for 5 quests in that time

I'm hesitant to trust that is complete, as I have found max potions myself. But thanks!

Still feel like an ancient potion/kelbi horn would be best find.

If anyone has found them

The meal voucher is a great find, but its a pain to get poog up there, wether you wait for him or carry.

why do you want kelbi horns?
it is only one horn, while you can simply slaughter 10 of them easily in coral highlands or the desert
simply use sns or a gun keep knocking them, 1 hit is enough to get the horns.

in most cases iam to lazy to wait for poogie and simply start the mission, because there are more effective ways to get this stuff

I've tried farming them by slaying/carving and only rarely do they give up their horns to me

Doesnt seem farmable, i've been melding my ancientpots so far.

often take down 5+ with no horn drops

It all seems kind of tedious. I may do some of the outfits but I get plenty of kelbi horns from trailraiders & have a stockpile of ancient potions.
