Other then that its fairly easy.I'm also used to M/KB so there's that.I even tried using controller and it felt really off.
i did the same coming from PS4.
i generally don't play certain games, like action adventure or rpgs, with a keyboard.
got 1k hours in game and never had a issue both ranged and melee
Controller is more fluid in terms of movements and action, but it is difficult to aim fast targets like Kirin or your teammates if you want to heal them with shots. Everything is within reach, but shortcut is 2 or 3-step action by default. Much longer if you have multiple pages of shortcuts. The execution time is abysmal. Range will have a hard time aiming, but melee player will find it more fluid.
Pick.
it's weird how good the default scheme actually feels. i changed it at first cuz i thought my own setup would be better, but for whatever reason, the default feels natural to me.
definitely good with Keyboard to me.
it no longer feels like mouse tryna emulate analog movement when you flick
I use a razor mouse with 12 programmable
If you go through the keybind options and have the keys to bind... the controls are great
I found shooting/retracting insect almost impossible to do effectively with a controller while moving.
Using a keyboard/mouse and setting up my bind properly made this game so much more awesomerereERERER!
On that note spend the time and setup your radial menu loudouts and keybinds for even better PC exclusive experience
edit : Also I think you can enable a hardware cursor or something similar to give an more responsive feedback.
