HR doesn't reset, but you get a new rank called Master Rank (MR) to grind, so functionally speaking, HR won't mean anything.

The game give me some guild card titles . The real things what I got are

- Few ppl spam fri request to me .
“ OMG HR 999 , Please Solo this Arch Tempered Horse D-ick for me while I am sitting at the camp and btw accept my fri request after this quest “

- Some ppl called me hacker / cheater .
“ Wow we have cheater here , HR 999 lmao imagine cheating in Monster Hunter “ ( removed from the quest )

- Most ppl don’t trust me and ask for Guild Card .
“Nah HR 999 ? Are u cheater ? Gonna one shot a monster ? Show us guild card or we are going to boot u “

- Some ppl carefully watched me and judge my gameplay
“ OMG HR 999 can’t dodge this roar ? “
That’s the message what I got after completing AT Teo SoS yesterday .. I remember Teo roar 5 times in this quest , I dodged 4 roars and eat 1 . And got this lmao .


Right now , I even decorate my guild card and steam profile just to prove I am not a fu-cking cheater . Lol ppl .

Cause some other use the easy way (like instant hr999 costum quests etc) the real 999 have to suffer, instead of closly watching you, how you behave, walk and play, what builds you use and your skill in general, they try to boot you off or call you a cheater, thats what i have seen way to often in all 4u,Gen,Genu and MHW

And i mean even if you reach 999, you are no god or invincible, you still can do mistakes or get caught into a roar chain cause reasons, there is no shame in it in my opinion, but thats what some people dont get.

Let me guess those “ OMG HR 999 can’t dodge this roar ? “ people cant do it better and start to smacktalk you for get caught at one roar, after already dodge a bunch of other roars ?

This Dude was CB user and can’t even guard point properly, forget roar dodging . Actually , I was calm and cool until this dude post a auto message about Teo’s remaining hp . According to my experience, ppl who use mod to track monster hp also use DPS meter mod . And u already known about that .. DPS mod in the hand of toxic player . Then I excited and start to play aggressive instead of playing normally . Because I don’t want someone judging my “dps” . Over aggressiveness finally changed to greed and caught the last roar . Teo didn’t even roar+oneshot combo me . Just simply caught in last roar , and I got judged by this CB dude .

Like u said , HR 999 are not gods . They are just normal ppl and make mistakes . But sometimes ppl just want to blame HR 999s .

And glad I am not the only one . MHW is my first game MH game and didn’t know ppl from previous titles also suffered from these problems .

TBH you should get an achievement. Because it's an actual achievement to get max HR, way bigger achievement than most of the current ones we have.

Probably wouldn't amount to much, since you can just edit your HR with cheats.
