Would've been nice to see more features added, even if just some QoL ones. This is a game that failed miserably to impress me at first but over time I grew to like it. Would be great if there was a meaningful expansion in the works, adding lots of features. I would have no problem paying for it if it added more [interesting] stuff to do.

I dunno, not really cheap or a trap. What you get is fun personally. I just wish there was more. I dont get the feeling it was designed to be complicated or long though, its about the epitome of casual relaxation game.

this game is neither a trap nor cheap, just look at the screenshots ! the game looks exactly like those everywhere
it's a beautiful world, manifold landscape, vivid with colors, a day & night cycle, which gives a constant change of lighting, just magical

there is a limit to the main story, that's true but you still can make side quests after you unravlled the main story

i wish there would be a DLC for this stunning world, yes, but i do not regret to have bought it, worth every cent i've spent & more !

if you don't buy then you don't even know what you miss out

Last time I checked the dev was asking what kind of things we would like to be implemented in the game. I remember it was a long thread, full of answers from the community. So it was basically for nothing?

I wouldnt give up hope, another game i play the devs just reappeared out of the ether after a year of radio silence with a big update. I wouldnt hold my breath, but we might still get some of those features.

they released summer 2018 the game on switch, so it's not completely dead
but it would be nice if there was at least some glimpse of hope, that Yonder will continue
the game is just too beautiful to end here

There have been feature-request posts from the "official" side, but they underlined in their last posts that they refrain from providing timelines with the goal to not disappoint or otherwise cause unnecessary troubles.

Things like player housing, mounts, romance, etc. were on that list. I don't know what happened to that. But it was a thing in the beginning of the year.
