the hunt for the new endings

I am stumped. If anyone finds them I would v much like to know. If I find it, I will post details here.

I've followed the advice for the "My Homunculi" ending perfectly on two separate save files now, but I only get the standard ending. :/

Does anyone, by any chance, have a backup of their save file on which they managed to snag the "My Homunculi" achievement?

Edit: I just managed to get "Rich King" with a save file that I was attempting "My Homunculi" on. I kept completing requests and doing jobs until I had about 59k, then allowed the daughter to deteriorate.

Also, just attempted to get that last ending once again. I used a file that had "max level 10" for all homunculi but not all of the letters (because someone pointed out that the developers said they're not required). After turning off the initiative option, I went months and months without forcing the five homunculi to do any jobs or killing them, and I played with a different one every day and occasionally gave them treats that suited their affinities. They stayed at max affection and max level.

Finally, thinking that was enough, I let the daughter deteriorate. Nope--standard ending.
I merged the save file and retried it, this time letting them do the jobs they asked for right at the end. Nope--standard ending.

I'm truly baffled as to the requirements for this achievement. What is everyone doing differently? Do I need to kill more of them before letting the daughter deteriorate? When I was doing my "Rich King" ending, I killed tons of them, so I feel like that isn't the issue. But I really don't know...

Finally!!

Okay, so, after tons of experiments, I decided to start on one of my save files that had "max level 10" in the book for all 29 homunculi. I took the steps to get the true ending where you find the fourth and final range for each affinity for the daughter and infuse her with correct values.
I saw the cutscene for it, exited the game, and copied the file just in case.

I opened the game back up, accessed the save file that I just got the true ending on, and I nurtured five new homunculi up to max affection and max level. As I let the daughter's body deteriorate, I stopped doing jobs to keep their happiness maxed out.

Aaand... achievements unlocked!


I hope the pain I've recorded here helps someone else out in the future.
