Final infusion

So far I have:

Joy 771-831

Sadness 764-824

Anger 564-624

Fear 543-603

I have tried infusing several times with the affinites in this range but I keep getting that the daughter has multiple personalities battling for control. Are there narrower ranges I need to get? What am I doing wrong?

I'm having the same problem. I "try" to make one of the affinities much higher in the range than the other ones and it still gives me that stupid scene with all four of the girls. This game is so infuritating right now. I understand that it's a balancing issue that we are trying to resolve to get our daughter back but I'm getting to the point that I almost don't want to play anymore because it seems like I can't catch a f-ing break. My stats are:
Joy 536-836
Anger 709-769
Fear 445-745
Sadness 534-834

The last infuison I tried making was listed below but i got that stupid cutscene with the four affinites.

You need to get the endings where one of each affinity is in control. So one where the rest are around 500 and one is at 700+ This should narrow down the ranges further. Once you have each affinity with three crossed out ranges and one fourth range not crossed out you now have the proper affinity.

I have gotten each ending where one of the affinities is in control. That's why I am confused because I have gotten all of the "endings" other people have talked about but I'm still not getting the final ending. Each affinity is in the fourth range but for some reason it doesn't work.

Have you gotten the ending where you max every affinity? I believe that helps as well. I don't recall exactly as I got every ending before the true one, so I don't personally recall which ones had to be done to unlock everything.

The dominant affinity has to be at least 200 higher than the rest.

Oh I see I didn't know that. Thank you! So then how should I go about following the ranges they give since two of them are very close?

I would shoot for anger at 760 with joy and sadness between 536-560 and then fear anywhere from 445-560. This should narrow down your ranges if the game works how I think it does.

You just need to go whole hog with each affinity in turn. The ranges don't matter until the final attempt. I did it with 500 for the 3 that wouldn't be dominant and 1000 for the last one, but you can probably do it with 3 zero's and a 500.

Each one has to be at least 300, otherwise you get the "finger twitch" result.

Am i supposed to stay inside the parameter or am I allowed to to go a bit above or a bit below as long as the right affinity is stronger than the other?

So I ended up figuring that since the highest affinity has to be 200 above the rest of the affinities then it is not possible to get the ending in that file. You seem to be having the same problem Kanjejou. Every time you start a new file it randomizes what affinity levels you have to get and since your affinities are too close together you cannot get "The End?". Yes you do have to stay inside the parameters. The last update was supposed to fix this problem but apparently it didn't. My best advice would be to start a new game.

dracopyrus, I don't think that's [entirely] true. I just did the final infusion and my highest affinity was only 100 above the next highest. Maybe there is a certain amount of difference there has to be, but 200 isn't it. (For reference, I needed 816-876 joy, 466-526 sadness, 689-749 anger, and 710-770 fear. I got the "The End?" ending by getting 832, 482, 692, and 732 for each of those affinities, respectively.)
