No sounds through streaming

At some point since the last time I played this game (I usually play this through streaming remotely) the sound stopped coming through to the client. All other steam games I've tried since this issue happened stream the sound to the client just fine.

I figured out a workaround. If I set the default sound device on the host to Steam Streaming Speakers it will play the sound to the client now. No idea why only this game requires that.

Can you clarify what it means "set the defaulf sound device"? Where i can do this? Is it steam settings or windows?
