When Dana join?
Like seriously I'm almost done with chapter 2 and Dana hasn't join the party...already 25 hrs playtime....she is featured on title screen lol

Well VIII is a huge game with over 50hr+ of gameplay (judging your progress it could be 80-100+). It takes time to build things up, so you have to be patient, then eventually you will get the climax. And by the way, chapter 2 is probably the longest chapter of the game.

You are only in the beginning of the game. Just wait a little more. While Dana is an important element of the game Adol is still the main character of the game and series.

I almost finish chapter 3 and dana still not join lol why the developer put dana in title screen then? I have meet other 4 party member so DANA is the last? tf is this

The series is named Ys despite never appearing in this game.

Also Adol is the main character of the series.

Dana will come soon don't worry, just have some patience.

I worried Dana will never join or the game will end soon after but you'll spend a good long time with her, in comparison the time before her feels like prologue.

Dana doesn't join because the mid chapter 4 twist. It's actually really cool and original. Man, this game continues to surprise me.

I wouldn't spoil it but yeah, Dana is supposed to join once you reach a certain part of the game and there is a specific reason why.
