NG+ enemy levels
I should of done a separate save prior of a NG+, but it's a bit late now. So i did NG+ infinity mode + nightmare.

Just too hard for me for now without some grinding from my prior game. I was around high 70s before I ended. So I switched down to normal.

I noticed about 10 mins in the enemy levels are 80+ in area 1. Was this level bump for the enemies due to the infinity mode or nightmare mode which I selected? Going back down to Normal mode doesn't seem to reduce the enemy levels.

Its because of infinity Mode, nightmare does nothing to levels.

I played nightmare on first playthrough, level seemd normal to me. Well because of that I had around lvel 83 for my chars before starting infinity nightmare. Still its nearly impossible to level up your characters in infinity since the mobs give nearly 0 exp compared to your level even if its "only" 70.
So only after around 70% of the game in infinity you feel like you characters starting to improve again, get some exp and so. Its quite bad game design that the mobs in infinity give so less exp despite having high levels. Thats espesially annoying in Dana's era if you havent leveld her up much in the previous playthrough.

Mybe you should load a older save before defeating the final bosses and grind,... a lot, if you want to do infinity nightmare. Its very important to level dana on her era ad farm some strengh elexir.
Also giving Adol some extra level and elexir will help you a lot in his solo fight against that tree monster.

It's weird how the exp values work in infinity mode. Even if the monster pages are updated in the journal, it seems that those monsters will still give exp scaled to their non infinity mode counterparts despite it being listed as much higher exp from a high level monster.

In my experience of solo infinity mode, level 91 Adol only gained about 150k-200k exp throughout the playthrough up to Theos. Dyrodox, those long neck things in the Pangaean Plains, gave about 10k exp while most bosses gave 1-1k exp.

I'd recommend @Hellton's solution and loading up a save file to farm for a little bit. Just don't go past like 1500-1800 str unless you want the playthrough to be a lot easier.

Edit: You may want upwards of 3-5k+ str if you're trying to complete the endless raids in a solo playthrough

Does Infinity Easy or Infinity Normal affect drop rate and drop amounts?

Don't think it affects the drops in any way. If it does, then it would be almost unnoticeable since infinity mode increases drops by 5x. Only did infinity inferno, so can't really add more to this.
