How is it compared to Ys 7?

Considering all the horror stories, if I do ever get this one it's more likely I'll do it on PS4.

Ys 8 is way better than Ys 7 and the play is more close to Ys foliage ocean of celceta

It's objectively better in pretty much every way. Ys 7 was the first run using the party system, so it has it's flaws. Celceta had a chance to improve on it, and Ys 8 basically perfected it. If anything maybe play 7 first becuase after you play 8 it will be disappointing.

YS8 is much better than YS7, in all Story / Gameplay / Characters.

It's the best Ys game and I'm surprised I'm saying that considering how much I love Naphitism engine games, especially Origin.
They play very different, jumping and free camera make a big difference.
