I wonder if I can use my Photoshop instead of that paintnet thing. I remember doing some texture mods for Atelier Ryza but had to unpack the whole game....so tiring. lmao Nowadays it might be easier since in LL they made a better extractor package for these games, still though, you gotta work yourself a bit for it.

If it's DDS I think I can make something on photoshop on my own. Thanks for sharing, Sara!

My version wouldn't let me open them and edit them. Funny, in the past I could do them. Maybe I will try to make them PNG, edit, then DDS and try out, sometime when I get the feeling and the time. I am not a good mod.

Probably you're using an older version of Ph that couldn't read new DDS format. Still, switching to newer version could be a pain in the *ss (even if it coming from Yar-haar edition). Installing Paint.Net is actually a better choice as it is very lightweight, support addons and much better than default Paint (from Win7) or the sh**** Paint no one asked for (from Win10). Besides, "convert to PNG > edit > convert back to DDS" could be troublesome, since the format may change during.

Talking about textures, what do you guys think of VIII remake on mobile?

To me it looks too off, ugly and rough on some locations, but few others... lol is that the same Island we are talking about? And the character models look not much different than what we're having, cannot judge them yet because works in progress.

p.s: but d****mn Laxia's new royal white dress though.

The hell? That's like a completely different game. And why would they remake a psvita game for mobile? That makes no sense. Wonder what's up with that.
