Snes version you can find it translated, i just played it , its pretty good.
Ps2 version is only in japanese, you can play using guides if you really want.
Lorewise Ps2 vs Snes its almost the same, excluding the fact that Dogi is present in Ps2 version.
V is outdated, should wait for a remake in the future, and it is not needed to understand later games anyway.
