Can someone explain this? (major name spoilers)
For the final dungeon, as far as I have gathered, in the original translation it was called "Lofos Hill". Can someone confirm that and does anyone know how they went from that to "Octus Overlook"?

yes, i can confirm that "Lofos Hill" = "Octus Overlook" depending on which translation you are playing (ps4 or pc). as to why they went for "Octus Overlook" i can't tell you, but the japanese name for it is "mitodoke no oka" which means "observer hill" as evident from this screenshot: https://gyazo.com/bea02db35404749c8d39327f94653c0c

Isn't the whole place made up of OCTOgon platforms? Then it overlooks the whole giant tree thing in the middle. "Lofos Hill" is what makes no sense!

Well, I get the "hill" or "overlook" part, since basically it is a location from which evolution can be overseen. Just wondering about the reason behind the Lofos and Octus thing.

Unfortunately those platforms are not octagons, they are hexagons ore made of hexagons. I don't quite see where the number eight should be coming from here.

just take it as the translators freedom to give the place something "catchy". i showed you the original name.

Oh yeah absolutely, I just thought that maybe there was a reason for it, like some particular meaning behind the name.
