Whilst we understand that some people do not like Denuvo, and we very much welcome feedback, this is one of those things that is not up for consideration. If this decision is changed and Denuvo is removed from the game, we will be sure to let everyone know. However, for now it is not on the agenda.
I'm sorry if this is upsetting news to you, but please have a happy Easter (or chocolate day if you don't celebrate it), and a wonderful day!
Denuvo is more about protecting the game from being easily pirated rather than fulfilling the role of an anti-cheat, Bickiz. That being said, we do not intend to remove it yet.
The main issue we have noticed is offline play not being capable - however, this was due to an error on our part with a DLC check failing due to lack of an internet connection. This will be fixed in an upcoming patch, though.
I hate anti-piracy systems because in past they backfired against me when I had >original< games. Let's take for example Sacred. I could not run the game due to the securom (propably?) saying that my game is not legal and I was not able to play with original disc and cd-key O_o.
Hello Shoter0. How are you? :)
That is a completely understandable point of view - thanks for sharing.
We do periodically put the game on sale so add it to your wish-list and Steam will notify you as soon as it is goes on sale. Interesting that 80% is what you were looking for as we actually just had it for 80% off last month!
Thank you for visiting and have a wonderful day! :)
i do love the irony here. while DRM is anti-consumer (i get that) it is still required as people will still pirate the game regardless if they are honest or not.
honest players who paid for the game may hate, but it is an inconvenience we have to deal with
The use of Denuvo in this case does not break the game, does not require an active online 24/7 connection to play, It doesn't hog resources which the game needs to keep processes and memory low. Piracy is a major problem for these small developers.
- The full game of constructor (remastered edition) £25.00
- DLC buildings pack 2 is FREE
- Missions patch update is FREE
- DLC buildings pack 1 is £3.99
And a massive Constructor Plus expansion pack is being worked on adding a ♥♥♥♥ toan of missions, new maps, new content, new buildings, units and shed toan more stuff all at most likely a small extra cost.
You've got ♥♥♥♥♥ like EA with the Sims 4 out there charging you guys a stupidly over excess of £200+, Fortnite by Epic Games for example with their "paid skins" from an extra £10 a pop to £100 a pop for virutal in-game currency.
Any of you even remember the disaster called "Simcity" 2014? with it's constant DRM connection, gamebreaking protection or the fact that to just play the game by yourself you had to connect to a server online to play it? with zero offline playablity? or how about the fact you had to spend £50+ for a few things excluding expansions, DLC, items and other things?
Constructor to me is under priced, DRM that has been added is EXTREMELY fair as I've seen far worse in this game. If you've not bought the game already don't be put off by these stupid dumbasses jerking over themselves because Denuvo is added, if you buy the game LEGALLY you got ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ to fear.
Regards,
Antz
Thank you Denuvo.
I own the game but I am still very unhappy with Denuvo.
