Lots of games have such issues now, as they were originally designed to run at 60fps. Now, with PCs powerful enough... the higher frame rates cause issues with physics in the game.
Jesus these games with V-Sync, good thing I have a 144Hz monitor with Free Sync and it does not lag my mouse or input.
You dont have to use Vsync. Its just that the games framerate must not exceed 120fps. Otherwise physics dont work as intended and bugs may occur.
If you have a 144Hz (or even more Hz) display i guess you should not use Vsync in this game at all, because otherwise your framerate may go above 120fps,....obviously....
Of course Vsync can do the trick if you have a 60, 75 or 120Hz display, but a normal framerate cap works too and doesnt induce input lag.
Just prevent the game from running faster than 120fps, thats all.
With my big old 60Hz TV i am using Nvidias Fast-Vsync and a framerate cap at 120fps.
No screen tearing, (nearly-)no input lag ... AND no physics bugs =)
