so every time i click play it doesnt do anything should i like uninstall the sorce version and are evelopers still active?

I really want to play this but whenever I sit in the lobby I never see anyone If I can get the interest I would love to make a steam chat or invite people do a discord to play and get a community going or something. why in thsi game the units are so slow ??? i dont remember if there is option for faster game speed , if there is - anyway i put it on maximum and still units are soooooo slow man -.-
