get the base game for free
if your an AMAZON PRIME member, then you can sign-up for free to amazon gaming. RIGHT NOW, they have The Outer Worlds available to all members to get and keep for free - forever, regardless of future amazon prime membership. when you claim you copy, you get a GOG code which you enter into your GOG account using the provided link. then then you can download the game after jumping through some minor hoop. you will need to install the Epic Games client and link your account to GOG. then then you can download the game using EPIC. after this the game is managed by GOG Galaxy (assuming you have it installed). if you don't.... then i don't know.... but any ways... EPIC link is only present to manage the DLC - which i plan on getting asap.

PRIME OWE ME £50 FOR A SUB THAT WAS ALREADY TICKED AND I HAD TO REMOVE THE TICK AND IT'S ILLEGAL TO DO THAT UNDER ENGLISH/YNGLYSH LAW.
amazon prime gaming is included with your prime membership. you are only charged when you buy a game. otherwise it's free. so i don't know what your talking about.

ALSO an addendum to my original instructions:

GOG has published an update eliminating EPIC from the process. you can now download and install the game directrly form the GOG website or using GOG galaxy client. you can ALSO now get all the dlc from GOG directly as well now.

Thanks for the post, I'm a prime member and wasn't aware of this, was about to grab it on steam since it's on sale then checked the forum, now downloading. :)
. The game key is tied to both your Amazon prime account and your GOG account
the GOG tkey which is provided to you by AMAZON Prime Gaming and registers the key to your amazon account. but yes, if you don't link the account, then it will not link it to GOG account as well. I believe the TOS for amazon gaming prohibits the sharing of game keys.... i would not risk doing that sort of stuff if i were you.

what you are doiing is essentially pirating software if you give away your key, becuse the person who gets the key may have a valid key, but they do not have a legally valid license.
well, if that's what you believe... then go ahead. just be aware, that actions like that ruin it for the rest of us who follow the rules. one too many people start doing it, and amazon may just stop giving out games.

that stuff was written BY amazon, not the game company. only amazon is making any money here,
