Is it worth buying only the base game ?

I heard, it is not worth it. I heard it is only worth if you pick up the bundle but i am not keen on picking up and spending 40 euro on the game i never played.
Any recomendations ?

I’m about 40 hours in, and I have a LONG way to go. I’m still loving it.

I think the people that say it’s not worth it are the ones that play in an easy difficulty and don’t bother with the side quests.

Looking at the current price of £16 or so that seems a good price to me. It may not be an 80hr+ game, I probably took 30hrs, but it is also not stuffed with lots of filler activities.

I bought it on epic with 10 euro gift card. So i paid for 11 or 12 euro's.

No. DLC offer a bit story(kinda expected proper detective story so my disappointment understandable), a lot legwork for character(especially on supernova) and lot better weapons(never loved Gatling before but alcoholic gun is good) than base game, exp up to max lvl and higher lvl cap.(at least jugging by Murder on Eridanos i still have some hope for a Gorgon DLC). Price for a game+dlc at big save felt just right.

Yea its definitely worth it still. I only bought base because I was hesitant and still enjoyed the hell out of it. The build your own adventure aspect gives you plenty of options anyway without the DLC from what I can tell.

I think it’s time people stop using the word “short,” they post the actual hours and begin to state the difficulty they played in. I’m at 48 hours in on the hardest difficulty, I’m not even half way through, and I haven’t even done any of the DLCs

If people are saying this game is short, it’s because they played at easier level which I’m beginning to think are ridiculously easy considering I’m here sitting with over 3000 rounds of ammo on the hardest difficulty. At the rate people are saying how short the game is, I could probably beat the game on the easiest difficulty blind with my tongue controlling my mouse and not doing side quests.
