*small spoiler* how long can you play both sides?

I thought turning in Phineas is just a joke quest, but read about it, turns out its a whole other storyline.
I dont want to turn him in but i wonder how long can i go with the other quests?

i dont know the exact answer but my guess is not too long... wanted to check on the guy on the Groundbraker and he was replaced

Pretty much right up until the point of no return as far as Phineas is concerned, but the Board does ask you to do some things you can't take back (in particular Edgewater), so be aware of that. There are other ways of learning most of the things you learn by working for the Board, though, and other chances to ingratiate yourself with them later on even if you don't turn in Phineas from the jump.

then why i cant speak with Udom, who got replaced? i think i done too much quest for Phineas so its definitely not the "point of no return"

I meant before Udom is replaced, sorry. Once Udom is gone, you have to wait until you can get to Byzantium some other way.

Did you talk to the Adjutant? I think Udom is replaced sometime after getting to Monarch without turning in Phineas. Possibly. Not 100% sure, there are multiple orders in which to do things, haven't tried this one. But if you bought Udom's seal and got the key to Byzantium, you should be able to work with the Board with or without him, I think?

i stopped doing the main quest because i think i am close to the end, thats why i asked the question above, but i guess where i should go now is the person who i can speak with about Phineas? Big open area building with a bunch of guards, i checked it once "undercover" but didnt see anything interesting, the top floor door was closed behind a receptionist

Okay, so did you get the option to go to Byzantium before you went to Stellar Bay, or is this after? You always get to Byzantium eventually, but you can get there early if you turn in Phineas to Udom when you first get to Groundbreaker. After you can get to Byzantium without him, he's definitely gone, maybe earlier.

If you mean you're now at Byzantium and didn't turn in Phineas sooner, it's too late, that branch is closed, at least until the adjutant asks to see you herself. Sorry, I misunderstood.

yeah, i went to stellar bay first, i didnt turn in Phineas, then i go on with the main quest

There will be some options to work with the Board eventually, then, but you'll have to do more of the main quest to get there.
