Can't pass level 36 even with Spacers Choice DLC

I bought the Spacers Choice DLC and read that the level cap will be 99, but I am stuck at 36 though.

I bought this and installed it, then started a new game. I checked my DLC list to confirm it was installed before starting a new game. Does anyone know what I'm doing wrong?

Okay, I've figured it out.

The Spacers Choice DLC is NOT DLC. It's access to a whole other version of the game...

This is possibly the worst described item I've ever seen on Steam. Thankfully though, you can transfer your save via a copy paste job.

I've missed the entire game in it's higher resolution though, which sucks.
