I too, agree about long guns on Supernova and the perks, as well as those lockers for dealing with that weight problem, I also use the fridge upstairs for food, my captain's quarters chest for the weapons, and the box by the cleaner robot for excess armor. The discount is huge for cash, too. Only thing I never really needed past Monarch was ammo, but I picked up a ton before then.

Nice video, thanks for sharing.

Conversely, invest in max str, max temperament, go full melee, invest fully into block, get all the melee healing perks, wear the heaviest strongest armors, then watch the game open up for you.

On the last area on supernova and haven't spent a single point into combat skills. Leave companions on aggressive, but I'm heavily invested in leadership and determination. Don't even have to fight things, companions kill them all

I like how everyone have different experience with the game, that means its pretty balanced and shows that there are several ways to deal with things :D

its UNballanced. Skills barely matter. You only need to know basic FPS tactic of shoot and hide. I had 120 unspent point by the end while oneshotting enemies left and right while still hacking, lockpicking and persuading every npc I want.
Supernova is just annoying as it has no challenge. Death of companions doesnt matter as on lvl you can unlock 2 revives per combat in 10 hours.

Supernova isn't very hard. It was tough very briefly right after the prologue, but that's about it.

Between tinkering, consumables, weakspots, sneak attacks, and regular use of the time dilation, it's not hard to get your damage dealing up to a point that normal mobs aren't bullet sponges, and if you approach combat situations intelligently your toon shouldn't take much damage, either.

I beat most of the game with a shotgun, rarely using time dilation and usually only for reloading. Enemy AI is pretty bad and really couldn't handle me running around and shooting them at point blank range. Except from the guys with the heavy lightning guns, ♥♥♥♥ those guys. Only during the last area I had to try more.

Another tactic I used once or twice was running past every single enemy, killing my target and then running all the way back.
