Parvati does not help

Hello, started the game yesterday. Now...
Parvati does not go into stealth mode and does not fight. With all the consequences, like quickly to be discovered and no backing. Did I messed up something, or is it just buggy?

Sounds buggy. If you go stealth mode, your companions should, too - and they actually turn completely invisible to enemies then, so it's only your own position you need to be careful of.

Seems like a bug. Companions are undetectable by AI when in stealth.
Reload a save prior to recruiting her or just power through the starting area without stealth till you reach the end of the Edgewater storyline. Thats really the only thing you can do now if reverting isnt an option

Note that even when allies are sneaking, they won't necessarily crouch or anything, but enemies can walk right past them without seeing them. But if your stealth is low, enemies can still notice you if they get close enough for long enough, or if you're not fully hidden, such as by tall grass.

You might also want to check that her AI didn't get switched off in the submenu somehow if she's not attacking.

no right now she is on Defense

Sorry, I'm not sure what you're asking. You just said she was on Defensive mode, which sounds like you've already been in the character menu? So it wouldn't be that. Edit: I probably should've said subscreen instead of submenu, my bad.

Well Im trying to go on. Sometimes at least she is going on stealth now with me, put still does not fight. I'm playing on "normal". I can win the battles without help.

That's weird. So even if you order her to attack or use her special, she just doesn't do anything?

hmm never used that so far. Forgot. Need to check that. Since I put her on "aggressive" she is fighting. But I'm concerned she will die against the harder boys

In my game, she avoids the boys especially if they are hard.

She's one of your better melee characters, and you can always give her better armour (and increase your leadership skills) if you're worried. Is she maybe not attacking because you've got her on Defensive? I think that means the companion avoids attacking until she gets attacked, or until enemies get close. Possibly you're getting between her and them and killing everyone before she engages?

Because yeah, strictly speaking you don't *need* companions to win. They're most helpful for buffing your skills, at least if your leadership skills are low, and of course they add dialogue and banter.

@ Du-Vu: Remember a battle were she stoud in the middle of the firefight between me and bandits, like a statue and did nothing. Since I set her on aggressive she is doing well. All the crew members fight now. But of course they fall sometimes, but when I survive they get up :) Just playing on normal as I mentioned before.

@Crumpp: Well in my game too. :) I'm trying to stay as much as possible in space, to avoid contact with Junlei. Cause I know someday she's gonna be my girl. :))

She does not seem to do anything if she is on defensive. Looks like aggresive is the only working setup for her.
